Group One-winning filly Pretty Pollyanna is set to get a date together with Frankel after time was predicted by connections .
Oasis Dream’s girl was crowned champion juvenile filly at the end of 2018, after an superb season that saw her run a brilliant winner of the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket and then follow up in the Prix Morny .
The charge of michael Bell kicked off her three-year-old campaign to fill the runner-up spot and proceeded to complete a creditable fourth in the July Cup at Newmarket.
She was a favourite in a Listed event for her look, also owners Bill and Tim Gredley have decided to deliver their stud in Newmarket her back before a mating with Frankel at 2020.
Bell said:”It’s going to be difficult for her to attain more than she has already, with won a Group two and a Group One, so the Gredleys have decided to call it a day.
“They are owner-breeders and they feel there’s probably much more to lose than there is to get at this stage, therefore they want to wrap her in cotton wool so that she can go on to enjoy a successful second career as a broodmare.
“I believe the plan would be to ship her into Frankel next season, which is quite exciting.
“We have actually got Pretty Pollyanna’s half-brother in practice, and he seems a nice horse. He is a two-year-old colt from Nathaniel, and we are excited about getting him on the trail at a Newmarket maiden at the end of the month or early next month”
